TMHC is offering group therapy!

Have you ever been curious what it would be like to experience therapy with others who can empathize and support you? Do you want to expand your community and find strategies to improve your overall well-being? Group therapy may be a good fit for you!

Group therapy has a multitude of well documented benefits, some of which include:

  1. Building community

  2. Fostering gratification

  3. Developing social skills

  4. Inspiring hope and optimism

  5. Potentially being more cost effective than individual therapy

TMHC is thrilled to be offering its first group therapy series, starting this February! We will be utilizing Brené Brown’s The Gifts of Imperfection book for our weekly meetings (bonus: we provide the book and all materials!) as we explore each one of the guideposts for wholehearted living by incorporating discussion, activities, and reflection together.

You may be asking yourself: What is wholehearted living? In the Gifts of Imperfection, Brené writes, “Wholehearted living is about engaging in our lives from a place of worthiness. It means cultivating the courage, compassion, and connection to wake up in the morning and think, No matter what gets done and how much is left undone, I am enough. It is going to bed at night thinking, Yes, I am imperfect and vulnerable, and sometimes afraid, but that doesn’t change the truth that I am also brave and worthy of love and belonging.” (p.3)

If 2024 is the year for you to explore how to live more wholeheartedly in a dedicated group atmosphere, contact us for more information. We would love to hear from you and share in the journey together!
